Pile-up at the Finish Line
March 8th, 2010

In what might have become an every-other-March tradition, Cat and Girl is scaling back to new cartoons twice weekly for two or three weeks while I complete the heavy lifting part of preparing the next book. New cartoons Tuesdays and Thursdays in the interests of serving you better.

Does that mean it is also Ellen’s arm? Or is it Dorothy’s arm? I wish it were my arm.

I believe the arm can be credited to no other than Ellen.

I actually saw someone with the same tat at work the other day. I was going to compliment her, but I got socially awkward and just admired it from afar.

I saw someone wearing an ‘Elephants Never Forget’ shirt down the road from where I work, and I was so startled that I remarked on it without really thinking that I was intruding. She gave me a strange look and said ‘I got it from the internet’. I don’t think she realised it was associated with a webcomic.

Mister Chen kept seeing the same guy during his daily commute. One day that guy was wearing a Brooklyn Cow tee. Mister Chen got all excited. The next day that guy wore his Brooklyn Cow tee, Mister Chen went up to him and said: “My girlfriend made that shirt! Do you read Cat and Girl?”
The guy said No, I have no idea what you’re talking about. My brother bought me this shirt.
That guy is now our friend Ben.

How socially awkward we webcomic readers are.
