David thompson”s comment reminded me of a monopoly set i used to have. The instructions actually said “these rules are not to be altered.” and that FREE PARKING gave you nothing. we were daredevils and had free parking give $500. thats stickin it to the man!
do the instructions still say “dont alter?”

I’m able to introduce slight changes to my life occasionally. For example, I am now capable of disobeying the instructions of a Lego set and introducing minor variations. This was something anathema to me a year ago.
